What is Bees and Blossom?
Bees and Blossom is an eco friendly domestic housekeeping service with customers in the Kirkby Lonsdale, Lyth Valley, and South Lakes areas.
I’m Helena, and I run the business as sole operator. This way I can be sure that my customers receive the very best service with every visit. I’m committed to provided an excellent experience for my clients, whether that it is a weekly, fortnightly, or one off call.
My Experience
I have over fifteen years’ experience in housekeeping and hospitality roles, including a variety of five star hotels and apartment complexes at destinations across the country, including the Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly, Scottish Highlands and Islands, and the Lake District.
I set up Bees and Blossom in 2018, providing private housekeeping and cleaning services in properties ranging from converted barns and mills to old farmhouses and cottages, and everything in between. After a break during which I cared for my mum, I restarted in 2026.
What Do I Offer?
I provide regular and one-off cleaning, housekeeping, and decluttering services. These may range from a weekly specified slot of at least two hours, to a single full or multiple day domestic tidy and spring clean.
I can help you get on top of a home that seems out of control, and has become overwhelming. If you wish, when peace has been restored, a regular visit will ensure that your home remains a place where you can relax and unwind.
I’m organised, observant, and calm. I’m rarely fazed, and I prioritise what needs doing most, working through your home until we establish a regular routine that maintains a fresh and welcoming atmosphere in your home.
